Alice in Wonderland
Alice in Wonderland as imagined by Tim Burton is one of the few movies that have been
able to really suck me in. Alice/Hatter makes me squee. 
The two
have an amazing relationship throughout the
movie. And despite
what our dear Mr Depp has said, it's
nothing like a brother/sister
relationship. This relationship had
me for its bitch the second I saw it in the theatre. Five times.
There is a strength to the character of Alice and a strange fragility
to the character of Tarrant Hightopp, despite his tendency to go violently mad.
It's always nice to see a change to the old "man saves the day and rescues the heroine" story.
The only real beef I have with the movie is the ending!
But thanks to fanfic, that small problem is easily overcome ^_^.
