The Adventures of Sinbad
This is probably one of the cheesiest shows ever put on the air. Ah, the power of cheese.
This swashbuckling adventure story follows Sinbad the Sailor and his motley crew as they
sail from one unlikely adventure to another. The crew is comprised
of Sinbad's portly, inhumanly strong brother, the buxom Irish witch
(a.k.a. the love interest), the mute knife-throwing Moor and the
goofy, geeky, warped genious inventor. AS you can see from the
icon on the left, my money's on the geek. I have a secret passion
for nerdy scientist types, and Firouz fits the bill prefectly. Much to
my shame, this is also the only fandom I have ever contemplated
Mary Sue-ing. I didn't have the guts to actually do the deed,
though, and the unfinished fic below is the result. I haven't yet
given up on finishing it thanks to several positive reviews it has
garnered, mainly due to the Sinbad/Maeve co-pairing.
