Doctor Who
Doctor who is probably the first fandom I ever was into. I'm talking like when I was 5 years old. I used to watch the old series on PBS. 
Now that There is a NEW Doctor Who out there, I find that I still heart Dialeks and I still want to be a companion when I grow up. The Ninth Doctor, brilliantly played by Christopher Eccleston and his companion Rose Tyler is one of those beautiful UST ships that fanfic was made for. Free-spirited Rose is a perfect counterbalance to the frequently morose and angry Doctor, who it still scarred by the loss of his planet and his people. Unfortunately Eccleston bowed out after one season, forcing us to move on to Doctor number Ten. We fangirls got the gift of a 9Rose kiss in his last episode before, in tragic fashion, Nine dies to save Rose. *sigh* How romantic ...
